Heinrich Nikolaus Witting's (1654 - 1695) second son Jakob Wilhelm Witting (1684 - 1730) became pharmacist in Frankfurt am Main. His g-grandson Theodor Wilhelm (alias Teodoro Guglielmo) Witting moved in the early 1800's from Frankfurt to Naples in Italy and became an artist. His descendants stayed in Italy and became part of Italy's history of the passed two centuries.

Gustavo Witting (Teodoro Guglielmo's son, tab F 4)

known and talented painter in Naples (Posillipo school), his works are in museums and private collections. He was one of the volunteer soldiers in the war with Garibaldi's troops to unify Italy, and was then exiled in Bagni di Lucca. He died nine years before Italy's unification from wounds and illness suffered in battle
